Specifically for senior service users who require 24-hour medical care, as well as personal support with day-to-day living. Nursing care at Marian House is thoughtful, attentive, and respectful. Our in-house nurses are fully qualified and undertake regular performance reviews.

Our 24-hour nursing care can feel like “the best of both worlds” for the service users who need it. They can enjoy being a resident in Marian House’s safe and homely environment, while also having access to medical support as and when they need. Our dedicated and friendly team of nurses ensure that they get to know every service user, from the moment they walk through the front door.
How does nursing care become necessary?
Nursing care becomes a requirement when an individual requires 24-hour medical and personal care, due to complex conditions, that can no longer be tended to at home.
We understand this can be an upsetting time for loved ones; but a qualified nurse who is assigned to provide 24-hour nursing care is trained to recognise signs and symptoms of illness and can respond accordingly.
Changes in health are identified in a timely manner (and appropriately addressed with a Multi-Disciplinary Team).
What does 24-hour nursing
care include
Nursing care supports service users with day-to-day care, while also providing professional medical support.
It includes, but may not be limited to:
- Bedside care and assistance
- Administration of medication
- Assisted Nutrition
- Monitoring general health
- Ongoing health reviews
