Thankyou all
They really work to get to know the needs of each individual in terms of care, physical and mental stimulation. My husband has been 'challenging' and they have worked to settle him - an ongoing piece of work - but he is happy and 'loved'. The management are keen to interact with relatives and work on constructive feedback - great sign of a good home. Rooms are really clean and there are no 'niffs' . Food is plentiful, freshly cooked and appetising. The activity programme is punctuated by celebration days, visiting singers and surprises such a miniature ponies. More importantly the activity co-ordinator tries to establish individual interests and feed these. Nothing is ever perfect but , speak up as a relative, and this is as near as it can get.
