🐾 Woof Wednesday 🐾
This week, Basil has been hard at work carrying out his very important room inspections 🐶
He’s been checking out some of the lovely rooms we currently have available at Marian House and he’s pleased to report that they’re bright, light, airy and full of natural sunshine – perfect for relaxing, reading, or simply enjoying a peaceful moment by the window 📖 ☀️
Of course, Basil’s favourite part of any room is making sure there’s plenty of space for cuddles! He loves meeting everyone, making new friends and is always happy to stop by for a fuss and a scratch behind the ears ❤️
If you’re looking for a welcoming place to call home, why not get in touch to find out more about our available rooms? Basil has given them his paw of approval 🐾✨

A couple of weeks ago, we shared the story of a Mommy Pigeon who chose Marian House as the perfect place to build her nest. Well, we're delighted to announce that her baby has arrived 🐣🕊️
It's been wonderful watching this little family grow right on our doorstep.
Did you know? Pigeons are actually remarkable birds:
🕊️ Both Mom and Dad help care for their babies, sharing feeding and nesting duties.
🕊️ Pigeons are highly intelligent and can recognise individual human faces.
🕊️ They mate for life and form strong family bonds.
🕊️ Both parents produce a special nutrient-rich food, known as "crop milk", to feed their young.
🕊️ Throughout history, pigeons have helped people by carrying important messages across long distances.
Often overlooked, pigeons are gentle, loyal, and devoted parents. Our newest little resident is a lovely reminder that nature can thrive in the most unexpected places.
Welcome to the world, little one! 💙🕊️
