I finished my placement at Marian House in December and I had the most amazing experience. I would like to especially thank Becky Evans my assessor, who could not do enough for me to make sure I felt supported as a student and that all my learning needs were met by the end of my placement, I have never had an assessor so attentive and supportive before. I have never before had a placement whereby I felt so part of the team. Both the nurses and care team were lovely and amazing to work with. I feel very fortunate that I got to work amongst them and be apart of their team for 9 weeks. It was lovely to build rapports with the amazing residents within the home and just wanted to say a huge thank you to the amazing team at Marian house, you have really helped to shape my experience as a student nurse.

We had a visit from the fabulous Adam from Fitnniss - Wellbeing in Care who got everyone’s blood pumping with a brilliant mix of resistance band workouts, boxing pad sessions, and energising exercises. The music was on, the energy was high, and the smiles said it all!
It was amazing to see everyone getting involved, having fun, and pushing themselves – what a fantastic atmosphere! 🙌🔥
