We’ve hatched a great start on our Easter bonnets today at Marian House 🐣🎩
A huge egg-stra special thank you to Latavia and Louise for hopping in to help everyone get creative. There’s been plenty of cracking ideas 🥚🐰✨
Louise has joined us from Worcester University today for her placement and has fitted in egg-ceptionally well — clearly she’s got a head for hats! 🎓➡️👒
Safe to say things are really coming along at a hare-raising pace… we’re all eggcited to see the finished bonnets!

Miss D took on the very important role of Project Manager today while Sarah was placed firmly in the position of “assistant” 😄
The mission: give our weekly planning board a brand-new lease of life. Under Miss D’s careful supervision (and very clear instructions on how things should be done), the board was refreshed and ready for action.
Every detail was thoroughly checked – because when you’re creating something for everyone to use, standards must be high!
The new and improved board will now help give fellow residents a clear visual guide to see what activities are happening each day… all approved by our very own Quality Control expert, Miss D ✔️
Safe to say Sarah passed her training… just about! 🎨

🍪 Shortbread baking 🍪
Flour may have mysteriously appeared on the table… the floor… and possibly a few faces too. But after lots of mixing, rolling, and a little bit of “taste testing” (for quality control, of course!), we successfully baked some delicious shortbread biscuits with the people we support.
Now, very serious question of whether biscuits taste better warm… or straight from the tin later with a cup of tea ☕️
