Respecting different needs and preferences
Our team of qualified nurses and care providers are all professionally trained and supervised by management. While their skills are of course, second-to-none, our team treats every service user as an individual, where all their differences are respected and appropriately seen to.
Individual Care plans
After a service user has met with our professional team, we will assign them with an individual care plan, tailored specifically around their physical, emotional, and mental health needs.
This care plan will be reviewed regularly (and updated as appropriate); and we will always be happy to share its details with an approved care provider and/ or loved ones – given that we have the legal permission to do so.
Rest assured, every member of our team must successfully complete extensive training before beginning to work for us. For the benefit of our service users’, we keep several ongoing training programmes in place and regularly supervise how employees are performing.
Marian House also offers service users 24-hour nursing care and GP cover, if necessary.
Additional Services
We offer a range of additional services at the house to help service users feel as “at home” as possible. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Laundry services
- Chiropody
- In-house hairdresser
